PURPLESILVER HOSTS POET SU’EDDIE VERSHIMA AGEMA AT READING IN MAKURDI
As part of the weekly readings and meetings, PurpleSilver, a hot new literary group, is set to host Su’eddie Vershima Agema, all round writer and poet. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday 20th day of April 2013 at the exclusive VIP Lounge of Symbols Eatery opposite the Benue State University Medical School by 7pm to 9pm (not the mistaken insulted African time but World Standard Time). Su’eddie, who is also the Vice Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA, Benue Chapter) would be reading a short story and poems while discussing his works; his soon to be publicly presented much anticipated poetry collection, Bring Our Casket Home: Tales one shouldn’t tell; literary adventures, the writing experience among others.
According to the Coordinator of the group, Mr. Anselm Ngutsav, the event hopes to be exciting and quite different from normal readings. In addition to the guest rendition, there would be a themed discussion of societal importance looked at from literary angles as well as question and answer session with the guest writer.
PurpleSilver is an emerging country wide literary movement headquartered in Makurdi. The last reading featured politician and closet poet, Terfa Bossua in the spotlight.
PurpleSilver is meant to have its official roll-out on the 27th of April, 2013 in Makurdi in a grand poetry night with features as drama, dance, music and comedy.
